A Note From Simone
As Founder/CEO of Don’t Get Mad Get Paid, I am excited to build and grow this company. Every day I get up with the most exciting job ever – and that is to build a company that has such a profound impact on the people that we touch. For more than 20 years I was a private consultant working with women on one-off contracts navigating them through their complicated process of child support recovery. Today, I am leading a team.
It is an exciting process to find and hire people who share your mission and who are just as excited to join your team as you are to have them be a part of it. My team helps me to drive the mission and the values of the company and we incorporate them into everything that we do. We walk our talk.
If you are wondering who this team is that I have brought together turning a “me” into a “we” and an “I” into an “our”, I thought it would be great to pull the curtain back a bit and have you to meet the team of people who make up Don’t Get Mad Get Paid through our Center Stage blog series.
Each week we will feature a different team member by having them answer a set of questions so that you can get a better sense of who we are as a high-growth tech company. After all, one of our favorite company values is transparency.

What’s your role at Don’t Get Mad Get Paid?
I am a Customer Success Team Member.
What attracted you to the company Don’t Get Mad Get Paid?
As a single mother who fought for over 10+ years to collect back child support for my children, I want to help Mom’s get PAID!!! People do not realize the enormous financial/emotional weight that goes into raising children and when that rests on only one parent’s shoulders, it can be extremely challenging. I want to help change that! Simone’s passion for making a dent in the seven million moms to collect their back child support is infectious and inspiring and I am happy to be a part of this journey! In fact, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
What impact do you have that you are most excited about?
I am excited to be able to provide hope to these moms. I know the wasted dollars that go to lawyers, with minimal results, as it was in my case and if we can spare some moms from that experience, I’m here for it! No children should have to go without because their NCP can’t be bothered to live up to their financial obligations. That type of neglect can set a child and their family on a course that is not easily righted and it has to stop! My empathy and compassion for the parents in these situations comes naturally to me…they are me and I was them.
What makes you most excited to be apart of the team right now?
We are currently a small but MIGHTY team. There is enough passion and drive on this team to infuse to all the Moms that come to us and I couldn’t be happier! The whole team is excited and committed to helping parents get what is owed to them, to make their lives better and you won’t find a more dedicated team out there!
If you could instantaneously pick up a new skill, what would you choose and why?
I would love to learn Spanish and it’s something I would like to pick up next year after I attempt to write a book. 😉
